HISTORY

Apollo, also known as Phoebus (brilliant), in Greek mythology is considered the god of youth and light, identified primarily as a solar deity, one of the most eclectic deities in Greco-Roman mythology. Son of Zeus and the titan Latona (Leto). He had an twin sister Artemis who was known to the Romans as Diana, the goddess of the hunt.
